Private by design. This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your file is processed on your own device and is not uploaded by DO101.
About the Compare PDF
Load two versions of a document and DO101 extracts the text from each and highlights exactly which words were added and removed. Ideal for contract revisions and reviewing what actually changed between drafts.
How to use it
- 1Add the original document.
- 2Add the revised document.
- 3Read the word-by-word highlighted differences.
What you get
- Word-level highlighting, not line-level
- Added, removed and unchanged counts
- Ignores whitespace differences by default
- Detects scanned PDFs and tells you
- Both documents stay on your device
Frequently asked questions
Does it compare formatting and images?
No — it compares the text. Layout, fonts and images are not analysed, which is usually what you want when checking what a contract revision actually changed.
Why does it ignore whitespace by default?
Two exports of the same document often wrap lines differently. Without that option, every paragraph would appear changed.
One of my PDFs is a scan.
Then it has no text layer to compare. Run it through PDF OCR first, then compare the results.
