Will my formatting be preserved?
Paragraphs and page breaks are. Fonts, columns, tables, images and exact positioning are not — this converts the words, not the design. For a text-heavy report that is usually what you want; for a designed brochure it is not.
Why is this different from paid converters?
Commercial converters run heavy layout-analysis engines on a server to rebuild tables and columns. DO101 does everything in your browser for free, so it does the part it can do properly and tells you plainly what it leaves out.
It produced nothing — why?
The PDF is a scan with no text layer. Run it through PDF OCR first.
Is my document uploaded?
No. Both the text extraction and the .docx generation happen in this page.
