Crop PDF
Trim margins or scan borders from every page.
Cropping changes the visible page box, so text stays selectable and nothing is re-encoded. The trimmed content is hidden, not deleted — it still exists in the file. If you need it genuinely gone, use Redact PDF.

Private by design. This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your file is processed on your own device and is not uploaded by DO101.
About the Crop PDF
Drag four sliders to trim whitespace, scanner edges or headers, watching a live preview of the first page. Cropping adjusts the page box rather than redrawing content, so text stays selectable and nothing is re-encoded.
How to use it
- 1Add your PDF and look at the first-page preview.
- 2Drag the sliders to set how much to trim from each edge.
- 3Apply and download the cropped document.
What you get
- Live preview with the kept area highlighted
- Independent control of all four edges
- Before and after page dimensions
- Text stays selectable — no re-encoding
- Runs on your device
Frequently asked questions
Is the cropped content deleted?
No. Cropping changes the visible page box, so the trimmed content is hidden but still present in the file. If it must actually be gone, use the Redact tool instead.
Does cropping reduce the file size?
Barely. Nothing is removed or re-encoded, so the size stays roughly the same. Use Compress PDF for that.
Can I crop only some pages?
Not yet — the crop applies to every page. Extract the pages you want to treat differently, crop them, then merge them back.
