Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the two split modes?
"Every N pages" chops the document into equal chunks — useful for splitting a 100-page report into 10-page sections. "Custom ranges" lets you pull out exactly the sections you want, and those ranges may overlap.
How do I extract just one section instead?
Use the PDF Page Extractor, which keeps a chosen set of pages as a single new document rather than producing several files.
Why is the download a zip?
Splitting a 40-page PDF into single pages produces 40 files. Browsers block that many separate downloads, so DO101 bundles them into one zip built locally with fflate.
